Who we are

Group West Limited (Groupwest) is a firm of Chartered Surveyors, regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

We are a limited company, registered in England under number 06795727.  The registered office is: Upper Ground Floor, 141 Whiteladies Road, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 2QB.

This Privacy Policy relates to information which is obtained by Groupwest and for which Groupwest is the Data Controller.

This Privacy Policy sets out how Groupwest uses and protects any information that you give us.

 

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Name and job title
  • Contact information including email address, postal address and telephone number.

Depending upon what we will do for you, we may also need to undertake due diligence in which case we will need to see documents such as passport and recent utility bill.

We may also need to see evidence of source of funds.

 

What do we do with the information that we gather?

We use the information gathered for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping
  • To validate your identity in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • To respond to your requests.

  • Groupwest employees who need it to perform their jobs.

Your personal data will be held on secure servers within the European Economic Area ("EEA") with all reasonable technological and operation measures put in place to safeguard it from unauthorised access.

Where we hold hard copy information, this is held in locked cabinets with limited key holders.

 

How you can access and update your information

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you.

You have the right to amend any information that you believe to be incorrect.
